Sam Inc is tucked away on the first floor of the Damji Shamji Industrial Estate. If you’re coming from Mahakali Caves Road, you just look for the Nelco bus stop and we’re right there at 118. It’s a busy part of Andheri West, so there’s always something going on outside. The estate itself is full of different businesses, so you hear a lot of noise throughout the day. We’ve been in this spot for a while now. The office isn't very big, and we’ve definitely outgrown some of the furniture, but it’s home to us. We have a small crew and everyone knows their job. Sometimes we’re tripping over boxes because a shipment just arrived, but we manage to stay out of each other's way mostly. It’s not the kind of place where people wear suits. We’re usually in jeans and t-shirts, just trying to get the orders sorted. The fans hum all day long to keep the heat away. We don't have a receptionist, so if someone walks in, whoever is closest to the door usually says hi. It gets a bit chaotic during the peak season, but that's just part of the deal. We like being in Andheri because everything you need is just a short walk or rickshaw ride away. It’s a practical place for a practical business. We don't mind the noise much anymore, we just get on with it and stay busy.
