Saks International

Our office, Saks International, is located in the Highway CHS building at Shiv Shrushti in Kurla East. Being right near the highway means we hear the constant roar of trucks and cars passing by all day long. It’s a busy part of Mumbai, and things never really seem to stop moving around here. The building itself is B-3, and we’ve been here for quite some time now. Our space is pretty basic, just a few desks, some filing cabinets, and a whole lot of paperwork. We deal with international stuff, which mostly means we’re stuck on the computer or the phone coordinating things with people in different time zones. Sometimes the internet acts up, which is a real pain, but we manage to get things done eventually. The office isn't decorated with anything special, just some old calendars and maybe a few photos on the walls. We take our tea from the guy downstairs who brings it up in a wire carrier. It’s a regular routine. Kurla East is a bit of a maze if you aren't used to it, but we like being centrally located. We aren't some high-rise corporate firm. We’re just a small team working out of a residential-commercial building, trying to stay on top of our logistics and orders. It’s practical, it’s noisy, and it’s home for us during the work week. We just focus on getting the documents right and making sure everything moves along.
