If you are looking for us, we are right next to the Olive Restaurant in Khar. It’s a good landmark because everyone knows it, but our spot is a bit more low-key. Manek Chowk gets really crowded, especially in the evenings when everyone is out and about. We’ve been operating under the Sakpals name for a long time now. The building is old, and you can tell by the way the walls look, but it’s sturdy enough for what we do. Shah Shnakarchand Dalichand is right there too, so it’s a familiar corner for most of the locals. Sometimes the smell from the restaurant next door makes us all hungry way before lunchtime. We spend most of our mornings opening up and getting things ready for whoever stops by. It’s not a big corporate operation with hundreds of employees. It is just a few of us here making sure the daily tasks get finished. We handle a lot of different things throughout the day. Sometimes the internet acts up, or the delivery guys arrive all at once, which makes things a bit chaotic for an hour or two. But we manage. Khar has changed a lot since we first started, with new shops opening and old ones closing down, but we are still here in the same spot. We don't have a fancy website or a big sign, just our name on the door and a lot of work to do.
