Sajjan India Pvt. Ltd. operates out of the ground floor at Matulya Centre, which is building number two. We are right on Senapati Bapat Marg in the Lower Parel area. If you know Mumbai, you know this part of town never really stops moving. The traffic outside is always humming, and we hear the horns all day long from our desks. Being on the ground floor is handy because we don't have to wait for the elevators, which can be a real pain in this building during the morning rush. The office is pretty functional with desks pushed together and stacks of files that seem to grow every week. We spend a lot of time on the phones or looking at screens. People come and go throughout the day for meetings or to drop off papers. Lower Parel has changed a lot over the years, with all these new buildings coming up, but our little corner remains pretty much the same. We have our tea breaks nearby and usually talk about the commute or the weather. It is not a flashy place, just a workspace where we get the job done and keep things moving. The light inside is a bit bright, but it helps when you are looking at small print for hours. We have been here a while and know the security guys by name. It is just our regular work life, doing the tasks that come across our desks each day.
