Sajan Steels

Our office is located at No - 406 - B in Bharat Chambers. It’s on Baroda Street over in the Carnac Bunder area. It’s an old building, but it has character. The stairs are a bit steep if the lift isn't working, which happens more than I'd like. Sajan Steels has been operating from here for a good amount of time. We deal with a lot of heavy stuff, so there’s always noise from the trucks outside on the street. It’s a busy part of the city, always crowded. I spend a lot of time on the phone talking to suppliers and checking prices. The desk is usually covered in receipts and scraps of paper. We don't have a fancy reception area. If you come to see us, you just walk right in. Most of our business comes from people we’ve known for years. It’s about being reliable and showing up every day. My brother handles the inventory while I do the sales. It’s a small team, just a few of us really. We eat our lunch together at the back table. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish the logs. The salt air from the bunder can be tough on the metal if we aren't careful. We just keep our heads down and do the work. No need for anything more than that.
