Sai Siddhi General Stores

Our store is on the ground floor of Darshan CHS in Bhandup West. It is right on G D School Road, which gets quite crowded when the kids are heading home. We are easy to spot if you are looking for the Sahyarhi area. This is a typical general store where we keep everything from soap and shampoo to bags of rice and dal. There are stacks of biscuits near the counter and cold drinks in the fridge at the back. It’s a bit cramped because we try to fit in as many items as possible. The floor is often covered with boxes that just arrived from the wholesale market. We open early in the morning so people can get milk and bread before they go to work. The shop stays busy until late at night. Sometimes the bells on the door don't stop ringing. We know most of the people in the building upstairs and the families nearby. If someone is short a few rupees, we usually tell them to pay next time. It’s that kind of place. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just walk in. The fan hums all day, and there is always a bit of chatter between us and the customers. It’s just a normal neighborhood shop doing its thing in the Sahijpur Bogha part of the city. We have been here for years and the routine stays pretty much the same every single day.
