We set up shop at 16, Ground Floor, Shivpuri Society, which is right across from Akbarally’s on S.T. Road in Chembur Naka. It’s a busy spot, and there is always a lot of noise coming from the street outside. Our office isn't very big, but it fits everything we need to handle the export side of things. There are stacks of boxes near the door most days, waiting for the courier to pick them up. Being on the ground floor makes it easier to move stuff in and out without fighting an elevator. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking through documents to make sure everything is lined up for the international shipping. The traffic at Chembur Naka can be a nightmare in the evenings, so we usually try to get the heavy lifting done early. It’s just a regular workplace with a few desks and some filing cabinets that have seen better days. Sometimes the internet acts up when we are right in the middle of an email, which gets frustrating, but that’s just how it goes. We’ve got a small kettle for tea, and that keeps us going through the long afternoons. It’s a lot of coordination and keeping track of where everything is going. We don’t do anything flashy, just the daily routine of moving goods from here to wherever they need to go across the world. It keeps us busy and the coffee is always on.
