Sai Baba Garments

Sai Baba Garments is located at 345 Pragati Industrial Estate on NM Joshi Marg. This part of Mumbai, around Delisle Road, is always moving and it never seems to get quiet. Our unit is in a big industrial building where there’s always the smell of machine oil and the sound of people working. It’s a bit of a maze inside the estate, but once you find us, it’s just a regular garment workshop. We have benches for the tailors and a few big tables for cutting. It’s a bit tight on space because we have so many boxes stacked up near the walls. We’ve been at this Delisle Road location for a long time now. The workers here are like a small family, even if we argue sometimes about where things should go. We don’t have any fancy brochures or a team of people to handle marketing. We just talk to our regular contacts and get the orders finished. The commute to NM Joshi Marg is tough for some of us, but we all make it in by the start of the shift. Most of our day is spent looking at thread colors and fixing small issues with the machines. It’s a very hands-on kind of place. We don’t worry about sounding professional; we just worry about getting the stitching right. It’s just a normal, busy Mumbai workshop trying to stay on top of things. Sometimes the monsoon makes getting deliveries out a nightmare.
