You’ll find us at 511, Marathon Max, which is right at the Link Road Junction on L.B.S. Marg in Mulund West. Safari India has been in this office for a good while. It’s a busy building with a lot of different businesses. Most of what we do involves travel arrangements and organizing trips. Maps are pinned to the walls and stacks of brochures sit around, though they really should be organized better. A lot of time is spent on the phone or on the computer, trying to figure out schedules and bookings. There is a lot of back and forth with airlines and hotels. Sometimes the internet goes slow and we all just sit around complaining for a bit. A huge travel agency with a glossy storefront isn't what we are. We’re just a small group of people in a fifth-floor office. Regular customers just call us because they know we’ll pick up. Traffic at the junction downstairs is always a mess, so staying late to avoid the rush is common. Big corporate speeches aren't something we have. Just making sure people get their tickets and their rooms without any trouble is the goal. Detail work is constant, but we’re used to it. We just keep plugging away at it every day. It’s busy but it keeps us on our toes. Most days, the phone starts ringing early and doesn't really stop.
