Sadanand Tailors

Sadanand Tailors is located in Building No 12/91, which is part of the Cci Colony in Goregaon West. We are quite near the Jain Mandir, so if you are coming for prayers, you have probably passed our door a few times. It’s a busy little corner of Goregaon. We’ve got our sewing machines and our tables set up inside, and there’s usually a bit of thread on the floor because we’re always in the middle of a job. It’s a small space but it works for us. We don’t really have a big marketing plan or anything like that. People just find us because we’ve been in the colony for a bit. The noise from the machines is the main thing you hear when you walk in. We spend most of our time measuring, cutting, and stitching. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until late. Being near the temple means there is always some movement outside, which is nice. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped when we have a lot of fabric lying around, but we manage. We aren’t trying to be the biggest shop in Mumbai, just a place in Goregaon West where people can get their clothes sorted out. We know the neighbors and they know us. That’s how we like to run things. Just simple work in a simple shop in Cci Colony, keeping the machines humming along.
