S. V. Associates

S. V. Associates is based in the Devkaran Mansion. To find us, you have to head to Block 20 and find Room Number 4. We are up on the first floor of Building 5. It’s right on Mangaldas Road, near the Lohar Chawl area. This part of Mumbai is always packed with people and traffic. You can hear the noise from Kalbadevi Road all day long. Our office is small and filled with cabinets and stacks of files that have been there for years. It’s a bit of a squeeze when more than two or three people are in the room at once. We share the building with a lot of other small businesses, so there is always someone walking past the door. The building itself is quite old and has that classic Mumbai feel to it. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing department. Most of our days are spent on the phone or meeting with people who stop by the office. We have a small window that looks out over the street, but there isn't much to see except for more buildings and the tops of trucks. We drink a lot of tea and try to keep things organized, though it’s hard when the paperwork keeps piling up. It’s a busy, cramped life but we are used to it by now. We’ve been in this same spot for a long time and we don't see that changing anytime soon.
