S L Compressors is based at Plot No. 16 in the Swastik Industrial Estate. We’re right off CST Main Road in the Kalina area of Santacruz East. It’s a pretty busy part of Mumbai, and being in the industrial estate means we’re surrounded by a lot of other small businesses and workshops. Our spot isn't anything special to look at, just a regular unit where we keep our tools and parts. Most days are spent working on the machines or talking to people who drop by with questions. Kalina is a good spot for us because it’s central, though the traffic on CST Main Road can be a real headache during rush hour. We’ve been in this unit for quite a few years now. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we usually prioritize the work over the decor. It’s mostly just a few of us here, and we know our way around the estate pretty well. If someone is looking for us, they usually just look for the Swastik sign and head back to Plot 16. We don't really have a marketing team or a big sales staff. It’s just us doing the daily grind and making sure the equipment is handled right. It’s a bit cramped sometimes when we have a lot of stuff in the shop, but we make it work and keep the place running as smoothly as we can manage.
