Our office is located at Weer Maal Sonar Ali in the Khalapur taluka of Raigad district. It’s a bit of a trek if you’re coming from the main city, but it’s a beautiful part of the country. Ruby Realtors Pvt Ltd operates out of this small building in a very traditional neighborhood. The pin code is 410202, just so you know where we are on the map. Things move a bit slower out here in Khalapur compared to Mumbai or Pune. We spend a lot of time out on the field, looking at plots of land and meeting with farmers or developers. The office itself is quite modest. We have a few desks and some old filing cabinets. It’s often quiet, except for the sound of birds outside or the occasional tractor going by. We don't have air conditioning, so the windows are always open to catch whatever breeze comes through. It gets very green during the monsoon, which is the best time to be here, even if the roads get a bit muddy. We are mostly local people working here, so we speak the language and know the history of the land. We don't do fancy presentations. We just show people what’s available and tell them the truth about the property. It’s a simple way to run a business. Most of our clients come through word of mouth from people in the village. We just take things one day at a time.
