Our shop is tucked away in Crawford Market, specifically at Shop No-358/387. We are located across the second and third lanes. This place is also known as Jayotibha Phule Market, but most people just call it Crawford. If you’ve ever been here, you know how loud and crowded it gets every day. It’s a constant stream of people, wooden carts, and all sorts of smells. Royal Foods has been part of this chaos for a long while. We have space on both the second and third lanes to keep our stock and serve people. It’s a bit of a climb if you’re moving heavy bags between the levels, but that’s the market life for you. Everything is stacked high toward the ceiling. We don’t have fancy displays; we just have the goods that people need. The noise from the shoppers and other vendors is something we don't even notice anymore. It’s just the background to our working day. We start very early before the sun is even fully up to get things ready for the morning rush. The building is old, with those high ceilings and stone floors that have been worn down by millions of feet over the years. It’s a bit dusty and the air can get stuffy when it’s hot outside. We mostly deal with regular customers who have been coming to us for years. They know exactly where to find us in the middle of all the lanes. We just keep things moving and stay busy.
