Rose Hi-Tech

Rose Hi-Tech is located in Gala 17 and 18 inside the Ghaswala Properties. We are right opposite Modi Estate on the Lal Bahadur Shastri Marg in Ghatkopar West. If you know Mumbai, you know how crazy the traffic on LBS Marg can be. The noise from the trucks and cars is basically the soundtrack to our workday. Our space is basically two industrial units joined together, filled with machines and the smell of cooling oil and metal. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, especially when all the equipment is running at once, but we have a few big pedestal fans that help keep the air moving. The floor is concrete and has some oil stains that won't ever come out, no matter how much we scrub. We spend most of our time standing up, moving between the galas and checking on things. It is a lot of hard work and sometimes our hands stay dirty until the end of the shift. We usually grab a quick vada pav from the stall down the road when we get a chance. There is no fancy office here, just a small corner with a desk where we keep the ledger and the phone. We have been in this part of Ghatkopar for a while now and the other shop owners nearby are all decent people. It is a tough environment but it is where we belong. We just keep our heads down and finish the orders.
