You can find us over at Ashish Industrial Estate, room 402. It's on Gokhale Road South, right in Dadar West. Dadar is always crowded, so getting to the office can be a bit of a trek in the mornings. We work on clothes here. Usually, the tables are covered in fabric scraps and measuring tapes. It’s not the neatest office you’ll ever see, but we know where everything is. We’ve been in this building for a good bit of time. The windows look out over the street, and you can hear the horns honking all day long. Sometimes we stay late when a big order needs to go out. We don’t have a fancy reception area or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll probably just see someone drinking chai and looking at patterns. We try to keep things simple. Clothes are what we know. My cousin helped me set up the shelves last year because they were sagging under the weight of the denim. It’s a family-run kind of vibe, even if we are a private limited company on paper. We just focus on getting the sewing done and making sure the zippers don’t get stuck. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a minute, but we just wait it out and get back to work. It’s a busy spot, but we like being in the middle of Dadar. We often eat lunch at the local stall downstairs.
