You can find Rishi Apparel over in Lower Parel. We are in the C.V. Compound, specifically at B-50, Shop No. 2 on Hanuman Lane. It’s a bit of a maze back here if you aren't familiar with the lane. We’ve got a small shop floor packed with fabric and clothes. Lower Parel is always bustling, and the compound is no exception. There’s always a truck trying to squeeze through or someone moving carts around. Our shop isn't anything special to look at from the outside. We just have a simple door and a small window. Inside, we spend our days cutting, sewing, and packing things up. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going at full speed. We’ve been at this location for a few years now. Hanuman Lane has its own rhythm. We know the other shop owners nearby and we often share a quick word while we’re out on a break. We don't have a big marketing department or anything. It's just us doing the work. Sometimes the shipments are late and we have to stay late to catch up. That’s just part of the job. We try to keep things organized but with so much fabric, it’s a constant struggle. We like being in the heart of the garment district though. It feels right for what we do. We usually wrap things up by seven or eight in the evening.
