Real Combination

Real Combination is down on the lower ground floor of The Mall. This is in Malad West, right near the Malad Railway Station and the Airport Road area. Being in the basement or lower ground means it stays a bit cooler, but we don't get any natural light. We rely on the mall lights. It’s a busy spot because people are always coming from the station or heading to it. We see a lot of commuters. The shop has a mix of things. We have a real combination of items here, which is basically why the name is what it is. The shelves are pretty full. Sometimes it feels like we have too much stuff and not enough room for people to stand. We don't have a fancy display window. We just put our best items out front on a small rack. Malad has changed a lot with all these malls, but we've stayed in this spot. It’s a bit of a walk through the corridors to find us. Usually, we're just sitting there, waiting for the next person to walk in. We talk to the shopkeepers next door a lot when it’s quiet. It’s a community. We don't spend money on ads or anything. People just find us or they don't. That’s just how we’ve always done it. It’s a steady pace most days. We keep things simple, sell our goods, and close up when the mall guards start their final rounds for the night.
