Raza Creation

Raza Creation is tucked away in Vikhroli East. We are in Chawl No 376, specifically in Room No 4433. It is a very local area, very different from the big high-rises you see in other parts of Mumbai. Living and working in a chawl means you know all your neighbors and there is always some noise or conversation going on outside the door. We have been doing this for a while, just making things and handling the daily grind. The space is small, so we have to be very organized with our materials. If things get messy, you can’t even find a place to sit. Vikhroli East has its own pace. It is a bit more relaxed than the city center but still very busy in its own way. We spend most of the day at the machines or checking the fabric. It is not the kind of place you see in a magazine. It is just a room where work happens. Sometimes the rain makes things difficult because the lanes get muddy, but we are used to it by now. We usually have lunch together and talk about whatever is happening in the neighborhood. It is a simple life and a simple business. We don't have a big sign outside, just the work we do every day. People around here know us and we know them. It is humble but it is ours, and we like the community feel that comes with being in this part of town.
