Raymond Limited

Barve Nagar is a hilly kind of area in Ghatkopar, and that’s where you’ll find us at A/9 Kailas Society. It’s an older part of Mumbai, very settled and local. We’ve been operating out of this spot for Raymond Limited for quite a bit. The office isn't anything like the corporate parks you see in BKC or Lower Parel. It’s just a simple room where we keep our records and handle the daily tasks. You can hear the sounds of the street outside, kids playing or the occasional vegetable vendor passing by. We start around ten in the morning and usually wrap up when the sun goes down. The space is a bit cramped because of all the folders and sample swatches we have to store. We don't have a fancy coffee machine, just a kettle for making tea. It’s a functional place. Dealing with the Mumbai heat in an old building like this is just part of the job. Most of the staff lives nearby, so we don’t have to worry too much about the long commutes that most people in the city face. We keep the books in order and make sure the logistics for our sector are handled properly. It feels more like a community spot than a big company office. We just get on with the day and don't worry about the polish.
