Raxson Exports

You can find us at 390, I.R. Road, right in the Pydhonie neighborhood. This part of Mumbai is always packed with people and carts moving goods back and forth. It’s one of those old-school commercial areas where every square inch of space is used for something. Our office at Raxson Exports isn't very large. It’s mostly filled with samples of the things we export and boxes waiting to be labeled. The building is quite old, and the stairs are a bit steep, but it has a lot of character. We spend our days on the phone with shipping companies or checking on orders. It gets pretty loud outside with the honking and the street vendors, so we usually have to keep the door shut. There’s a small ceiling fan that wobbles a bit, but it keeps the air moving. We aren't some massive corporation with a skyscraper. We are just a local export house doing our thing in a very busy part of the city. Everyone here knows each other’s business, and we often have tea with the shop owners next door. It’s a very hands-on kind of job. We pack a lot of the smaller stuff ourselves right here on the floor. It’s a bit dusty and the light isn't great, but it’s where we’ve been for years and it works for us.
