If you ever find yourself walking around the Raj Industrial Complex in Andheri East, you will find us at Raunak Kitchen Equipments Pvt. Ltd. We are in the C Wing, on the first floor, Units 33 and 34. The military road outside is always loud with trucks and tempos, and our building is no different. We spend the day surrounded by stainless steel and the sound of metal being cut or welded. It is not a quiet office job by any means. There is usually a bit of a mess on the floor—metal scraps, some sawdust, and packing materials—but that is what happens when you are making things. We get orders for all kinds of kitchen stuff, mostly for businesses that need gear that is going to last a long time. We do not spend much money on fancy furniture for the office part; we would rather have better tools for the workshop. It can get pretty cramped when a big shipment of raw material arrives, and we all have to shuffle things around to make space. The lift in the building is sometimes a bit slow, so we end up using the stairs quite a bit. We have been here long enough that the security guards and the other guys in the complex are all friends. It is just a group of us working hard to get the orders out. No big speeches, just plenty of metal work.
