We are based out of Room 29A at 35 Mint Road in the Fort area. It’s a classic Mumbai office building, which means it’s got a lot of character and maybe a bit too much dust in the corners. Mint Road is a busy place, and being in the Fort district means we are surrounded by old architecture and a lot of history. Our room is quite small, but we fit everything we need in there. It’s mostly just us handling international trade documents and coordinating with different shipping agents. There are files everywhere, stacked on shelves and sometimes on the floor if we run out of room. We have a couple of old desks and chairs that have seen better days. It can get pretty loud outside with the taxis honking, but we just shut the window and keep working. We don't have a big team, just a few people who know the business inside out. We have been in this room for quite a while now. It’s a bit of a climb if the lift isn't working, but we are used to it. We don't bother with any marketing or big slogans. We just wait for the phone to ring or an email to come in and then we get to work. It’s a very basic setup, but it works for us. Most of our clients have been with us for a long time anyway.
