Our office is in the Tajmahal building on Nss Road. It’s right near the Mataji Temple, so there’s always a lot of activity and bells ringing nearby. Rameshkumar Khimji & Co. is a family-run kind of place. We’ve been in Ghatkopar West for a long time now. The neighborhood stays busy, and we’re right in the middle of it. Looking at the office itself, everything is pretty simple. We have old desks and lots of ledgers and files stacked up. Modern tech-offices aren't really our thing. Mostly, we just sit down and get through the daily tasks. Sometimes customers drop in just to say hello because they’ve been dealing with us for decades. We deal with various trading things, mostly keeping track of what’s coming in and going out. The organization isn't always perfect, but we have a system that works for us. Afternoon sun hits the front windows pretty hard, making it warm in here. We usually have the fans going full blast to stay cool. Getting here from the station is a bit of a walk, but it’s a good spot. We know the tea seller downstairs and the other shop owners on the street. This place has a real community feel. Our focus is just on the work and being fair with everyone who walks through the door. Nothing too complicated about it. Seeing the neighborhood change over the years has been interesting, but we stay the same.
