Ramesh General Stores

Ramesh General Stores is located in Jogeshwari East right on Sri Ramanjeya Road. It is a small shop that stays pretty busy because of the people living in the nearby buildings. We have been here for years, and most of the customers are neighbors we see every single day. The shelves are packed with everything from soap and shampoo to bags of rice and lentils. It gets a bit cramped inside when more than three people come in at once, but we manage just fine. In the mornings, the milk crates arrive early, and we have to stack them outside before the sun gets too hot. We keep a diary for the regulars who pay at the end of the month because that is just how things work around here. Sometimes the biscuits get crushed during the delivery, so we sell those packs for a little less. The sidewalk out front is a bit uneven, so you have to watch your step when you are carrying heavy bags of groceries. We do not have any big signs or bright lights, just the name painted on the board above the door. It is a simple life running a store like this. We know who likes which brand of tea and who is looking for the freshest bread. It is just about getting through the day and making sure the inventory stays topped up.
