Rajendra Kukreti

My office is right across from the Goregaon station in the East. It is a very convenient spot if you are coming by train. You can hear the announcements from the platform if the windows are open. It is a loud and busy area with people always rushing to catch their commute. My name is Rajendra and I have been working out of this space for quite a few years now. It is a simple setup. I have a desk, a couple of chairs for visitors, and shelves full of files. I handle most things myself. People usually find me because they saw my name while walking past the station. I do a lot of work for people in the local area. It is not a corporate environment at all. My desk is usually covered in notebooks and pens. Sometimes I have to step out to go to the bank or meet someone, so the office stays locked for a bit. Goregaon East has changed a lot since I started, with more buildings going up everywhere. But this little corner stays pretty much the same. I don't have any big marketing plans or anything like that. I just do my work and talk to the people who come in. Some days are very slow and I just read the paper. Other days, three people show up at once and it gets a bit hectic. I just take things as they come and try to be helpful.
