You can find us at Shop No 476 inside Jafar House, which is on Sir J Mumbai Central Ho, very near J J Hospital. Working at Rainbow Impex means being in the middle of all the chaos of Mumbai Central. The streets are always packed with people and vehicles. Our shop is quite small and filled with all sorts of items we deal with. We have boxes stacked up almost to the ceiling sometimes. It is a bit of a squeeze to move around when a new shipment comes in. We spend the morning checking lists and making sure everything that arrived is actually what we ordered. It is a lot of manual work, moving things around and labeling them. We don't have any fancy displays or a showroom. It is strictly for business. We know the other shop owners in Jafar House and we often help each other out with small things. The noise from the hospital area and the main road is constant, but you stop noticing it after a while. We drink several rounds of tea throughout the day to keep our energy up. It is a simple life of buying and selling. We don't have a website or a social media page. We just work with the people we know and handle the goods as they come through. When things get too hectic, we just take a break and sit on the steps for a few minutes to clear our heads.
