Raghuvanshi Exports

Our place is tucked away in the Govt. Industrial Estate in Charkop, right in Kandivali West. If you’ve ever been to this part of Mumbai, you know how crowded it gets. We are in unit 2A and it’s always packed with boxes ready to go somewhere. Exporting things means there is always a container to fill or a document that needs a stamp. It’s not always organized perfectly, but we know where everything is kept. The hallways are narrow and the ceiling is a bit low, but we’ve made it work for years. We spend a lot of time on the computer checking shipping schedules or talking to the guys at the docks. Sometimes the rain makes the roads around Charkop a mess, which slows down the trucks. We just deal with it and keep moving. There are plenty of other businesses around us doing the same thing. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a coffee machine for visitors, just a few chairs and the sound of tape dispensers. Most of our staff have been here since the beginning, so we don't need to say much to get the work done. It’s a lot of physical labor mixed with making sure the addresses are correct. We just focus on getting the crates out the door and onto the next ship without making too much of a fuss about it.
