R. S. Dandekar Sons

R. S. Dandekar Sons is located at 114/A in the Govt. Industrial Estate in Kandivli (West). It’s an old industrial area, and we’ve been part of it for many years. The building itself has seen better days, but it’s sturdy and fits all our equipment. Being in a government estate means there are certain rules we follow, and we are surrounded by all kinds of different businesses. We mostly handle manufacturing work. The shop floor is usually a bit dark, but we have big windows that let in some light. There’s a lot of history in this place since it’s a family-run business. You can see old photos on the walls of the office. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. If you walk in, you’ll probably just see one of us working on a machine or checking a delivery. Kandivli West is a busy part of Mumbai, so the traffic outside can be quite something. We’ve learned to plan our day around it. Our staff is small, mostly people who have been with the family for decades. We don't go in for fancy branding or slogans. We just stick to the work that needs to be done. The machines have their own quirks and we know how to keep them running. R. S. Dandekar Sons is just a traditional workshop trying to do a good job every day in this busy estate. We usually keep a kettle going for tea and take a short break in the afternoon.
