R. K. Exports (india)

R. K. Exports (india) is tucked away in Jitekar Wadi on Thakurdwar Road. We are in Building Number 3, on the first floor in Room Number 7. It is a typical Mumbai setup where space is tight and every corner is used for something. To get to us, you have to walk through the busy street and then head up the stairs. The building is quite old and the hallways can be a bit dark, but once you get into our room, it is where all the activity happens. We have desks piled with papers and samples of the things we export. It is not a polished office with glass walls or anything like that. It is more of a practical workroom. The fan spins overhead all day to keep the Mumbai heat away, but it still gets quite warm in the afternoons. We spend a lot of time talking to suppliers and checking on the status of different shipments. It's mostly about keeping track of the details and making sure the boxes are labeled correctly. We have been in this same room for a long time, so we are very used to the sounds of the neighborhood and the other businesses in the building. Sometimes we go downstairs for a quick tea from the local stall when things get too hectic. We don't try to look like a big corporation because we are not one. We are just a small team handling exports from this corner.
