Queens Collections

We are tucked away in Gitaneel Arcade, right near Elco Arcade in Bandra West. If you’re familiar with Bandra, you know it’s a place that never really sleeps. People are always walking around looking for things or just hanging out. Queens Collections has been in this little spot for a while now. The shop is small, so we have to be very careful about how much stock we put out on the hangers. It can get a bit cramped when more than three or four people come in at once. We usually have the radio playing in the background to keep things lively while we work. The lights in the arcade aren't always the brightest, so we had to add some of our own lamps. It’s mostly just me and one other person here most days. We spend a lot of time folding clothes and reorganizing the racks after customers have been through them. Bandra has changed a lot over the years, with new cafes and big stores opening up everywhere, but we’re still here in our same little corner. It’s a friendly neighborhood. We know the other shop owners nearby and often share news or complain about the heavy rain together. Sometimes we stay open a bit later if the street is busy, especially on Friday and Saturday evenings. It’s not a big corporate business. It’s just our small shop where we try to keep things tidy and help people out.
