Quebec Government Office

Our office is located inside the Indiabulls Finance Centre. It’s a big, modern building, and we are part of the Consulate General of Canada setup here. Specifically, we represent the Quebec Government Office. It’s a bit different from the smaller shops around town because of the security and the glass elevators, but once you get inside our doors, it’s just a regular workplace. We deal with a lot of paperwork and people asking about travel or business stuff related to Quebec. The view from the windows is quite something, overlooking a lot of the city’s rooftops and traffic. We try to keep things orderly, though the stacks of forms and brochures can get a bit messy during the busy seasons. Most of the staff here speak a few different languages, so you’ll hear a mix of voices in the hallway. It’s not a very loud place, usually just the sound of typing and the occasional phone ringing. We don’t have a lot of bells and whistles in the breakroom, just a basic coffee machine and a fridge that someone usually forgets to clean out. Even though it's a government office, we’re just a small team trying to get through the daily emails and phone calls. The commute to the finance center can be a bit of a grind with the Mumbai traffic, but we’ve all gotten used to the train schedules and the walk from the station by now.
