We are located at E-129 in the Ansa Industrial Estate, which is right on Saki Vihar Road. It’s a very busy part of the city, and the traffic on Saki Vihar Road can be a real nightmare during the rush hours. Prompt Computers Pvt.Ltd. has been in this office space for a long time now. The rooms are usually filled with stacks of old monitors, CPU towers, and a lot of tangled cables. It’s definitely not a fancy retail showroom. It is more of a practical working office where we actually get into the internal parts of the machines. We spend our days troubleshooting software glitches, fixing broken hardware, and helping people out with their various IT problems. Sometimes it’s just a single laptop that won't turn on, and other times it’s a whole server setup that’s decided to stop working. We aren't the kind of place that has a big fancy reception desk with a receptionist. You’ll usually find us hunched over a glowing screen or testing out a motherboard on a cluttered desk. We try to keep things very straightforward when we talk to our customers. If something is truly broken and not worth fixing, we just say so. If it’s a quick and easy fix, we get it done. The Ansa estate is full of many different types of businesses, so we see all kinds of people coming in and out every day. It gets a bit crowded in here whenever a big shipment of parts arrives, but we manage to work around it. We just really like technology and we enjoy the daily puzzle of figuring out why a computer isn't doing what it’s supposed to do. It involves a lot of sitting and clicking, but it’s what we do.
