Priya

I've been running things from my place here at Benhur Apartments for a while now. It's up on the fifth floor, room B-504. Lokhandwala is usually pretty busy, so being based in Mumbai-53 means there's always something going on right outside the door. I started Priya because I needed to do something with my time and it just grew from there. It's not a big fancy office or anything, just a desk and some space where I get the work done. Some days it's quiet, other days the phone won't stop ringing. I try to stay organized but sometimes the papers pile up a bit. People in the building know me, and I like that local feeling of working where I live. You just take the elevator up and I'm right there. Living and working in the same spot has its challenges, like never really leaving the office, but it saves me the commute. Mumbai traffic is no joke, so I'm glad I don't have to deal with that every single morning. I handle most of the tasks myself. It’s just how it is. Sometimes my friends drop by while I’m mid-task, and we just work around the mess. It's a simple setup. Nothing too special to look at, but it functions well enough for what I need to do. I’ve been in this spot for years and don't see myself moving the business anywhere else soon. It is just home and work combined into one.
