We have been here at Beaumon Chamber for a good while now. Our place is right on the ground floor, which makes it easy for people to just walk in from the street. Being in Bhandup West, on LBS Marg, it gets pretty busy during the day. Sometimes the traffic noise from the road gets a bit much, but you get used to it. The office isn't anything fancy, just a few desks and chairs and files stacked up where they fit. We spend most of our time answering calls or looking over paperwork that comes through. My desk is near the door, so I see everyone coming and going. The building itself is old, but it stays cool enough even when it's hot outside. We mostly just focus on getting our work done and heading home before the rush hour peaks. It's a simple setup. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy outside, just a small one near the entrance. Most people find us because they know the area well. It’s a lot of routine, really. We open up in the morning, check what needs doing, and just go through the list. Sometimes the neighbors from the other offices stop by for a quick chat. It’s that kind of place. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, with new shops opening up and old ones closing down. But we’re still here in our corner of the ground floor.
