Prismatic Trading Pvt. Ltd. is located at 705, Maker Chamber- 5 in Nariman Point. Being in Maker Chamber means we are surrounded by all sorts of other trading firms. It is a fast-paced environment. We are up on the 7th floor. Most of our day is spent watching the markets and making calls to various people. It is a lot of numbers and spreadsheets. We do not have a lot of decorations on the walls, just some old calendars and maps. The office is usually a bit messy with newspapers and trade journals. Nariman Point is the place to be for this kind of work, even if the rent is high. We do not put on any airs about being a big international company. We are just a private limited firm doing our trading bit. Sometimes the coffee machine breaks and that is our biggest crisis of the day. We have a small team, so everyone does a bit of everything, from answering the door to filing the taxes. We do not spend money on fancy PR. We just do the trades and try to keep things running smoothly. It is a lot of sitting and waiting followed by five minutes of rushing around when a deal comes through. It is just our daily routine and we are used to the noise of the city outside our window.
