Prime Intl. is based out of the Laxmi Industrial Estate in Andheri West. Specifically, we are at 32/5 on the New Link Road. This area is always packed with activity and vehicles, so there is never a quiet moment around here. The building itself is an older industrial structure, typical for this part of Mumbai. Inside our unit, it’s mostly desks, computers, and a lot of filing cabinets. We deal with international trade things, so there is always a lot of paperwork involving shipping and customs stuff. The walls are a bit plain, and the lighting is just those standard overhead tubes. We aren't here to impress anyone with a lobby; it is strictly a place for work. You’ll usually hear a couple of people talking on the phone at once or the sound of the printer going. We’ve been in this spot for a long time, so we know all the neighboring business owners. Sometimes we have tea brought in from the stall down the street while we go over the day’s tasks. The New Link Road is usually jammed during rush hour, so we try to get our logistics sorted early in the morning. It’s a no-frills environment where we just focus on the daily grind of the import and export business. We don't have much room for anything that isn't essential to the operations. It's just a regular office in a busy industrial hub where everyone is trying to get their work done.
