Prime Fashion

Our workplace is located in Goregaon East, inside the Virwani Industrial Estate. We are at A 211, which is part of the Wehigh building area. Prime Fashion is where we handle all sorts of clothing and fabric work. If you come by, you’ll hear the hum of sewing machines and see piles of different materials everywhere. It’s not a boutique with mannequins in the window; it’s a working industrial unit where things actually get made. We have rolls of cloth stacked up against the walls and threads of every color you can think of. The lighting is bright so we can see what we are doing, and it usually stays pretty busy from morning until late. Goregaon is a fast-paced place, and we definitely feel that energy inside the estate. We’ve been here for a while, so we know the other people working in the building and the guys who deliver the fabric. Sometimes we are rushing to finish a batch of clothes, and other times we are just sitting there cutting patterns for hours. It’s physical work and it can be tiring, but seeing a finished garment at the end of the day is a good feeling. We don't have a fancy website or a glossy catalog. We just focus on the stitching and making sure the sizes are right before everything gets packed into boxes and sent out.
