Premraj International

We are tucked away in the Sukanand Building at 24/B. It is right in the middle of the C.P. Tank area which is always packed with people and carts moving around. Charni Road is just a short walk away but the traffic makes it feel further. Premraj International has been in this office for years and the walls have seen better days. It is a bit of a tight squeeze inside with all the desks and the filing cabinets. We deal with international trade which mostly means a lot of waiting for calls and checking documents. The stairs in the building are narrow and you have to watch your step. We usually have the radio playing quietly in the background while we work on the computer. It gets quite loud outside with the vendors shouting and the vehicles trying to get through the narrow lanes. We don't have a big sign out front so you have to know where you are going to find us. Lunch is usually eaten at the desk while we talk about what needs to be shipped next. It is not a glamorous job but it is steady and keeps us busy. We have a lot of old ledgers and papers because we like to keep track of everything manually too. It’s just the way we have always done things here. It works for us and we see no reason to change.
