We’re based over in Ghatkopar East, in the Udaybhanu Apartments on MG Road. Our office is up on the fourth floor. It’s more of a residential-style building, which makes the workspace feel a bit more comfortable and less like a cold office. We work with different types of gums and chemicals here. Ghatkopar is a busy place, and MG Road is always humming with activity, especially in the evenings when the markets are full. Our team is small, mostly people who have been around for a long time. We have a lot of cupboards full of samples and old records. It’s not the most modern setup, but we know where everything is. We spend a lot of our time coordinating with the factory and making sure the quality is what it should be. The windows in the office look out over the neighborhood, and you can see the rooftops of the nearby houses. It feels like we’re part of the local community here. We don't do big corporate talk. We just focus on getting the orders right and keeping our clients happy. Sometimes we have meetings at the small table in the corner, but mostly we’re just at our desks. It’s a steady pace of work. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years, but our office stays pretty much the same.
