Prakash Paints & Hardware Stores

We are located at 4/A Goregaon West on the 13th Cross. Our shop is inside the Bhiwandiwala Bulding. It's been a while since we started doing this. Most of the time, I’m behind the counter checking stock or talking to someone about a plumbing leak they have at home. We keep different kinds of paints and basic hardware things people need for their houses. It gets busy in the mornings when the local workers come by to pick up brushes or some nails. The building itself is an old one, so everyone around here knows where we are. Sometimes the 13th cross gets a bit crowded with traffic, but we manage. It is just me and a couple of guys helping out. We don't do anything fancy, just sell what people ask for. If someone needs a specific shade of paint, we try to get it sorted. There’s a lot of dust sometimes because of the construction nearby, but that is just how Goregaon West is these days. We open up early and stay until the evening. Most of our customers live right here in the neighborhood or have shops nearby. It’s a simple setup. We have shelves full of cans and boxes. It's not a showroom, just a regular hardware store where you can find what you need without a fuss. We've seen the area change a lot over the years, but we are still here in the same spot.
