Prabhat Store

Prabhat Store is a small shop located in Bandra West. We are in the Sham Kunj Building, right at Shop Number 2. If you are looking for a landmark, we are very close to the Shivsagar Hotel, which most people in Bandra know well. This area is always buzzing with people, especially on the weekends when everyone is out eating or shopping. Our store is quite modest. We don't have the big glass windows or the bright neon lights you see on the main roads. It’s just a straightforward place where we sell various daily items that people might need in a hurry. We’ve been in Sham Kunj for quite a while, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot around us. Despite all the new fancy cafes opening up, we just keep doing our thing. The shop is small enough that you can see everything from the doorway. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we wait for customers. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when more than two people are inside, but we make it work. Most of our customers are locals who live in the apartments nearby or people who just finished their meal at Shivsagar and realized they forgot to buy something. We don't use any fancy sales talk. You come in, get what you want, and that is that. It’s a plain, local business through and through.
