Pouch N Purses

If you are looking for us, we are located in Malad West within the New Sonal Link Industrial Estate. Our unit is in the Vanmalivankas Pole area, right off the main Link Road. We spend our days making all sorts of pouches and purses. It is not a glamorous job, as we are mostly surrounded by scraps of fabric, threads, and the sound of sewing machines. The industrial estate is always crowded with people and vehicles, so it can be quite a challenge to move our goods in and out. We have a small group of workers who have been with us for a while now. We don't have a showroom where you can browse; it is strictly a production space. Most of our work comes from other businesses who need specific bags made for their products. We focus on the stitching and making sure the zippers actually work. The lighting in the unit isn't the best, but we have our desk lamps where we need them. Link Road is notorious for its traffic jams, which often means our material deliveries get delayed. We just work around those issues and keep the machines running. It is a lot of hard work and long hours, but there is a certain satisfaction in seeing a finished pile of purses ready to be shipped out. We have been in this Malad spot for several years and it works for what we do.
