M.H. Alshaya Company

Our office is in Mumbai, specifically at Chandrabai Niwas. It’s unit D-9. If you know the 400042 area, it’s a busy part of Maharashtra like you’d expect from Mumbai. M.H. Alshaya Company has been operating out of this spot for some time. It’s not a huge skyscraper or anything like that. It’s a more traditional building. The stairs can be a bit steep and the hallways are narrow, but it works for us. Usually, it’s quite loud outside with the traffic and people going about their business. We don't have any fancy signs or big posters outside. Just a small plate with the name on it. Inside, it’s mostly just desks and computers. We drink a lot of tea while we work. The pin code is 400042 which helps people find us on the map. Sometimes the mail gets mixed up because there are so many similar buildings around here, but we usually get it eventually. Working in Mumbai means you get used to the humidity and the constant movement. We just focus on the daily tasks. It’s a practical space, nothing more. We don't really have a reception area with a dedicated person sitting there. Whoever is closest to the door usually answers. It’s just how we do things here. We are just a group of people working at M.H. Alshaya Company in this little corner of the city.
