Popat Raja And Sons

Our place is at 111, on the first floor of the A2 Shah & Nahar Industrial Estate. It’s tucked away in the Dhanraj Mill Compound in Lower Parel West. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, but once you’re here, it’s a whole different world. We’ve been operating as Popat Raja And Sons for a long time, and the name carries a lot of family history for us. The estate itself is always humming with activity, people moving goods and messengers running around. Inside our space, things are a bit more controlled, though it’s still very much a working environment. We have shelves stacked high with various items and a couple of old desks where we handle the books. The windows look out over the compound, and you can see the city changing all around Lower Parel, with new buildings going up every year. Despite the fancy developments nearby, we’ve kept things pretty much the same here. We like the way we do things, without too much fuss or modern distractions. It’s a place where we sit down, handle the accounts, and talk to our suppliers on the phone. Sometimes the power goes out or the rain leaks a bit near the window, but we just deal with it and keep going. It’s a solid, practical place to spend the day, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
