Pooja Plastic

We set up Pooja Plastic over at Plot No-G/4 in the Sterling Industrial Estate. It’s right near Spectra Motors in Kanchpada Malad, which is a pretty active area with lots of workshops and factories around. We spend our days making and handling all sorts of plastic items. The machines are usually running most of the time, so it can get a bit loud in the unit. Malad is a busy place to do business, and being in an industrial estate means there is always a truck coming or going. We started this small and just kept at it day after day. It’s not glamorous work, dealing with molds and raw plastic pellets all the time. The floor is usually covered in some off-cuts, but we try to tidy up before heading home. We get a lot of people coming by asking if we can make specific parts for them. Sometimes we can, sometimes we can't. We just tell them straight. The commute into Kanchpada can be a headache with the traffic, but once we’re inside the estate, it’s just about getting the work done. We’ve got a small crew and we all just pitch in where needed. It’s a practical business, nothing more. We don't spend much on decorations because it’s a factory space, and we'd rather just focus on the orders we have sitting on the desk. Every day is just about making the parts and getting them out.
