Polar Trading Co.

We are located in Shop No-5 of the Maitri Vijay C.H.S Ltd. building. It’s right opposite Basant Talkies here in Chembur. Being across from the cinema means we see a lot of people passing by all day. Polar Trading Co. has been in this little shop for quite a while now. It’s not a very big space, so we have to stack our boxes pretty high towards the ceiling. We mostly trade in cooling parts and different supplies that other technicians need for their jobs. Chembur is a lively neighborhood, and we like being part of it. The shop gets a bit crowded when a delivery comes in, and we have to shuffle things around to make room for the new inventory. We don't have any fancy displays. It’s just shelves full of valves, motors, and gases. Usually, you’ll find one of us behind the counter checking the old ledger. We know most of the regular mechanics who come in to buy their supplies from us. Sometimes we stay open a bit late if someone is in the middle of a big job and needs a specific part. The building itself is older, which gives the shop some character, even if the shutters are a bit stiff to open in the morning. We don't do a lot of talking; we just get people what they need. It's a straightforward way to run a business in Chembur.
