Pioneers Impex Inc.

Our place is over in Thakur Village, right across from Jogger’s Park. If you know the area, you probably know the Neptune building. We’re in Shop 24. It’s a decent spot, though parking can be a real pain during the weekends when everyone is out for a walk. At Pioneers Impex Inc., we spend a lot of time on the phone or staring at shipping paperwork. It’s mostly just making sure things get from one place to another without getting stuck at a port somewhere. The shop isn’t very big, so things can get a bit cluttered with samples and files piled up on the desks. We try to keep it organized, but sometimes the shipments come in faster than we can sort through them. It’s just a few of us here working together. We drink a lot of tea and try to stay on top of the emails. Dealing with international stuff means sometimes we’re here late or early because of the time differences. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. People around here know us as the guys who are always busy with boxes. We’ve been at this address for a bit now and we’ve gotten to know the other shop owners nearby. It feels like a good community to be in, even when things get stressful with the customs papers.
