If you are looking for Pioneer Tyres, we are at Shop No 4 in Doshi Chambers. The Shol Masjid is right there, so it’s easy to find us if you know the landmark. The shop is on the ground floor, which makes it easier for people to just roll things in and out. It’s not a very big space, but we have managed to cram a lot into it over the years. The smell of rubber is pretty much everywhere here, but we don’t even notice it anymore. During prayer times, the area gets quite busy and we usually slow down a bit. We have a couple of chairs out front where we sit when things are slow. Doshi Chambers has been around for a long time and the building shows its age, but it’s sturdy. We keep our tools in the back and the main counter is where we spend most of our time talking to people who drop by. It’s a loud neighborhood with horns honking and people shouting, but that’s just the way it goes. We don’t have fancy air conditioning, just a couple of ceiling fans that stay on all day. It gets hot in the afternoons, but we have a cold water dispenser for everyone. It’s a straightforward shop for straightforward work. We just show up every morning, open the shutters, and see what the day brings our way. That's about it for our daily routine.
