Pink Lotus Fashion Llp is right in the middle of the Kalbadevi area in Mumbai. We are on the third floor of the Mulji Thakersey Building, which is on Dhirubhai Parekh Marg in Ladwadi. If you know Kalbadevi, you know it’s one of the busiest places in the city. There’s always someone moving a cart or shouting about a delivery. Our office is in unit 304. It’s an old building with a lot of character, though the stairs can be a bit much sometimes. We do our fashion work from here. It’s not a polished studio like you might see on TV. It’s a real Mumbai workspace with piles of samples and stacks of paper everywhere. We are right in the heart of the textile market, which is great for us because we can find whatever we need just by walking down the street. We don’t have a big corporate structure. It’s just a few of us handling everything from design to dispatch. We don’t spend much time on fancy marketing. We just focus on the fashion side of things and try to keep up with the pace of Kalbadevi. It’s a noisy, hectic, but honest way to work. We’ve been in this spot for a while and we’ve grown used to the chaos outside. It’s just our daily life at Pink Lotus Fashion and we are used to the noise.
